Perform phlebotomy services including inpatient ward rounds, outpatient collections, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, ASAP, and timed draws
Process samples, including preparation for send-out testing
Accurately identify patients and specimens to ensure safety and integrity
Maintain confidentiality and safeguard electronic and paper patient information
Document and resolve collection or processing issues in a timely manner
Provide patient-centered care that is professional and avoids complaints
Support laboratory operations across multiple service areas as needed
Minimum of 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Oral and written proficiency in English
Ability to work across multiple laboratory areas as directed
Disclosure of any planned conflicts during the contract period (e.g., military leave, extended vacation, anticipated medical leave)
