Deliver comprehensive anesthesiology services to meet or exceed national standards.
Ensure timely patient care in clinic or OR settings as per VA guidelines.
Work collaboratively with the VA medical staff and adhere to VA policies and regulations.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all educational and training experiences, certifications, and licenses.
Demonstrate ongoing competency through documentation and certification updates.
Follow VA Medical Staff By-Laws and provide care that adheres to national standards of practice.
Maintain professional, high-quality patient care throughout the assignment.
Technical Proficiency: Fluency in English (spoken, read, and written).
License: Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
Board Certification: Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
Certifications: Must hold valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Experience: Prior VA experience preferred.
