The Forrest Group is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible
Vascular Surgery Physicians to provide high-quality medical care to veterans. This contract
position will cover a range of Vascular Surgery services equivalent to those offered in
state-of-the-art civilian medical facilities. All care must meet or exceed national standards as
established by the American Board of Surgery (ABS), the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS),
the Joint Commission (TJC), and the American Hospital Association (AHA).
Contract Details:
● Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): 80 hours bi-weekly
● Start Date: 09/15/2024
● End Date: 09/15/2025
Key Responsibilities:
● Provide comprehensive Vascular Surgery services, including clinic coverage, surgery
coverage, and emergent surgical services.
● Offer 24/7 on-call and call-back coverage, including phone consultations and remote
consultations with VA residents and physicians.
● Adhere to VA standards for timely patient care, meeting clinic and OR wait times.
● Maintain a presence onsite during clinic and OR hours and be available within 60
minutes during on-call periods.
Qualifications:
● Licensure: Valid, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
● DEA License
● Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery by the ABS.
● Certifications: Must be currently certified in BLS, ACLS, or equivalent.
● Experience: Prior experience providing Vascular Surgery services is required, with a
strong emphasis on compliance with
